STUDIO N TURNS 10!

Wow, can you believe it? 10 WHOLE YEARS?!

I know that I hardly can. It feels like it wasn't all that long ago when I decided to give Permanent make-up a try, when I started feeling uninspired in my corporate 9-5. I wanted to flex my creative chops, and work in field where I could be a part of making people happier. Where I could be pro-active in someone's journey towards a more empowered, confident life. It started out with working long hours at both jobs for over a year, before I finally found the confidence to bet on myself, and choose Studio N 100%.

It has been a fun ride, filled with ups & downs.

From flying out to Vancouver with my super supportive mom to take my very first Permanent Makeup class, to trying to find the proper kind of professional insurance when nobody here in Alberta really knew what Permanent Makeup entailed, to renting a small room in a friend's hair salon, to travelling to Toronto to learn from PrincessBrows - a famous Hong Kong based artist who became a dear friend and mentor, to becoming her teaching assistant around the world, then an educator, then WINNING a brow competition in Hong Kong - the first I ever competed in and proudly taking home 1st Place, to opening our first studio in West Edmonton, to weathering through COVID, and now to our current home in Downtown Edmonton behind Macewan University. And never, ever, did I stop learning.

What a ROLLERCOASTER it has been! And the most wild, the most fun, and most exciting one I have ever been on.

This decade of beauty - starting out with Permanent Makeup, then expanding into Medical Tattoos (3D Areola and SMP), Keratin Lash Lifts + Lash Extensions, Brow Laminations, medical grade Skin & Scar Treatments, and relaxing yet effective Facials with GLASS+SKIN coming on board.

A decade of incredible stories & learning from each other. Of helping you look and feel your best. Of doing our best to empower everyone we worked with, or taught.

Now Studio N isn't just me. It's a team of talented, intelligent, kind, and hard working individuals all working together to create the best experience for every client who comes through our doors. And it's every client we have ever had the honor of working with.

We couldn't have done it without you. So thank you, thank you so much for all your trust and support. We are so grateful, and I know I speak for our whole team when I say - my heart is so full.

It would mean the world if you could join us in our celebrations on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 3-8pm, right here at the studio - 10569 111 St.

Sincerely,

Natalia

This is precisely the kind of article that makes one pause and truly consider the impact of studio turns. I wholeheartedly agree with your perspective; it resonates deeply with my own experiences. For me, studio turns were a genuine game-changer, and I find myself consistently recommending them to others who are looking for a similar transformative effect. It's fascinating how something seemingly simple can lead to such profound personal growth https://adstandards.com.au/issues/wagering-advertising Thinking about how to further develop this concept, a studio turns maturity model seems like a brilliant next step. It would provide a structured way to understand progression and identify areas for improvement. I'm also incredibly curious if there are any detailed case studies available that showcase successful applications…
